PHILOSOPHY

Food is life. I mean “life” in the broadest sense of the word: the life of our individual bodies, the life of our communities, the life of our planet. With this in mind, I take both a scientific and holistic approach to nutrition education: evidence-based nutrition practices, guidance and support.

Besides nourishing us, food plays a central role in social gatherings and celebrations. Deprivation only leads to misery! We should be able to enjoy delicious food while also improving and sustaining our health. I believe this is possible for everyone.

Nutritional concerns do not solely define how we eat: emotional and psychological needs also influence us and must be considered. It can take time to change something as personal and as habitual as our food, but small changes can create large effects over months and years. Choosing where to start may seem overwhelming, but working with a registered dietitian nutritionist will help you develop new patterns and habits that truly become your own.
